This blog was created to share with others information that has been collected, in the most part, over the Internet in order to dismiss the wrong or the purposely misleading information that is constantly being given to us through our politically bias media sources.

Both radio and television sources have seemed to have lost any respect they may have had in the past for "fair, accurate and non bias reporting". It has become a ratings war simply to sell advertisement space and nothing to do with reporting the facts. They simply find things to say or report that their listening audience is wanting or expecting to hear from them. That is why people generally choose programs where the commentators share their opinions and views, regardless of whether or not they are true or factual.



I welcome any constructive criticism that can be factually supported by referencing it to a link or links that will support your view. Any opinions or comments are subject to personal interpretation, even this authors, but a reference link to the information demonstrates how you came to your conclusions.

and goal in creating this blog is; most of the people that read it, regardless of their party affiliation, will stop, sit back for a moment and logically think about the issues that are being discussed here. The possible consequences or effects as a result if the bills or laws that will be discussed are adopted. Use a little common since and your better judgement. Then once you have weighed out all of the evidence presented, and eliminated all of the propaganda that you have heard from the bias media sources, then form your own opinion.

Take action and be sure to VOTE! Let's make sure there are no more freebie elections. Getting frustrated and not supporting your party or beliefs by neglecting to go out and vote, is basically an act of support towards the opposition.

Democrats and young independent voters weren't fed-up with Obama's policies, like FOX NEWS reported it. Or, like CNN and MSNBC did and blame the seasoned independents who voted for all of these inexperienced freshman Congress people, you know the "Tea Party"  radicals who promised voters they would cut the majority of our Governments spending, balance the budget, lower your taxes, protect the seniors "Social Security" from the evil Democrats, and accomplish all of this without having the slightest clue as to how our Government actually works.

But it sounded like a good plan! And now who is really going after your Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security? The Ryan plan, that's who! Still trust Republicans? Can you handle the truth? Then read on!

Moderate Democrats and the new college age Independents simply didn't bother to go out to the polls and vote as they would have in a Presidential election. Simply look at the demographics of the voting numbers. This is common of the Democratic party. That is who I am blaming for this "shellacking", as they liked to refer to it as. If the moderates would have shown up at the poles, this "shellacking" would have never happened. I hope they learned their lesson in 2010.

Republicans will vote straight down their party line and will stand behind any Republican candidate 100% regardless of their hypocritical views, criminal backgrounds or corporate and lobbyist palm greasing techniques. 

Republicans, throughout the years, have gained their popularity by spreading fear into the American people. Such as; fear of Communism, socialism or terrorism, the fear that illegals are taking away your jobs (Republicans exported your jobs!), and the fear from the Democratic party that is only interested in taking your hard earned money away and giving it to the poor and indigent through welfare programs. They like to call this redistributing the wealth, when in actuality they are closing social programs that benefit the middle and lower classes so that they can generate more money to give to large corporations as corporate welfare. So where do you fall in this synopsis?

When was the last time that you saw or heard a Republican television or radio add that was focused on their candidates accomplishments and experience? And not simply attacking their opponents on any little trivial item that most of them are guilty of themselves? The true "Republican accomplishment" are not something that the average American would consider as an asset. Therefore their focus is on attack ads.

Oil producing companies drilling in the United States, 2011 First quarter profit reports showed record profits (the largest for any companies in the history of the world) brought on by the GOP's private session meetings in 2001, hosted by Dick Cheney.

Because of the fact that the items that were discussed will not be disclosed publicly, but due to the changes in policy shortly after the meeting, we can only assume the topics that were discussed may have been; asking the big oil companies what they wanted in tax reduction bills, along with some extra added loop holes, free land leasing agreements, and even some oil businesses paying absolutely NOTHING in taxes. But still this was not enough to fulfil their greed.

But on the other hand, please don't try and discuss with a Republican the billions of tax dollars their party is handing over to the oil manufacturing industry through corporate welfare checks for NO logical reason called subsidies, or they will call you un-American or a non-patriot!

One of the problems that is also adding to the inflated gas prices, oil companies admitted in a Senate hearing on May 12, 2011 that speculators are increasing gas prices between 30% to 40%.  

To explain; big banking investors buy up large quantities of barrels of oil, hold onto them until demand causes the prices to rise, then they sell them back to the oil companies to receive a healthy return on their investment, never having to move or touch the product.

And yet still, oil companies feel the tax payers owe them even more. Are the Republicans in the congress going to bring any of this up for discussion? Absolutely NOT! The Republicans blocked a bill with a filibuster that would have ended the subsidies to help reduce our deficit. Who's gonna balance our budget?

Oil companies are the Republicans largest campaign contributors, therefore they can care less how much you have to pay for gas at the pump!

The Working Class Americans

Republican representatives along with their corporate backers are striping away any civil or constitutional rights that you may still have left as a working class citizen. They are doing this simply to increase large corporation's profit margin. 

Corporations, along with Banking are trying, and I must mention succeeding quite well, in controlling the lower and middle class through a new form of slavery called your "available line of credit".

Without dept you would be able to take some time to enjoy life.Simply ask one of these people that the Republicans are truly representing, they are enjoying life!

Any Republicans still reading? I doubt it. They seem to have a hard time handling the truth! But if you are, please read on, there may be some hope.

WAKE-UP VOTERS!

 Our lives and/or our countries future should not be in jeopardy due to the propaganda that the media outlets spew forward from the right. They have a duty to accommodate their gracious corporate sponsors, and the network executive owners that also support the Republican cause, tax breaks for the wealthiest, corporate welfare, polluting the environment by trying to change E.P.A. laws due to corporate greed, etc. etc.. 

Editors Note: If you are a hard working middle class person, simply trying to support your family, like I am, I find it very difficult to understand how you can consciously support these people. And what do you tell your children as far as what their future will be like when you put them to bed at night?

Radio and television were created for entertainment purposes and should be judged solely on its content.

Why is it, to become a Republican politicians it is no longer necessary to be highly educated in the area's of American history, geometry, or political science?

It seem as though all we are receiving in the way of politicians from the right wing are either extremest who do not understand the workings of our government, but try to stand behind our flag claiming to be some kind of modern day patriots. They simply promise to end taxes. Have you thought about that? If this were even remotely possible, who would pay their salaries, corporations?  

Or

Conservative corporate puppets that like to use their knowledge of "God fearing Christians" hysteria as their base, while they themselves, these self richious politicians are somehow excused from the ramifications of their own heathenistic ways.

How hypocritical!  

With their understanding they could never win elections on their great knowledge or the Republican political history record, they choose to use the television as their weapon of choice. The average American can be so gullible when it comes to the media. They seem to have this notion "If it was said on television, it must be true"!

This is the reason we have to be annoyed by people such as:

Hopefully this definition will help people to better understand the basic differences between these four societies.
It's amusing but also frightening at the same time, that so many educated news media commentators haven't a clue about the differences in these societies when discussing this topic. 

First and foremost, Socialism is NOT Communism. As a matter of fact; Capitalism, much like Imperialism or Marxism, in their pyramid structure, resembles Communism much more than socialism does.

The Imperials (Imp era's) that are here in the American system, this "Capitalistic Society", is not your elected Government officials, but the corporations, their lobbyist, large bankers and Wall Street that have control over our elected Government leaders.
  
What's even more disheartening is that the Republican leaders, along with the large corporations, are trying to turn this "Capitalistic (pyramid) Society", into a series of Dictatorships in each state.

Did you know that New Jersey has more millionaires than any other state?
Maybe that explains why Governor Chris Christie is so popular with the Republicans.

Yes Capitalism, living that American dream, with all of it's false hopes and dreams that some day anyone can becoming a millionaire, which truthfully you have a better chance of hitting the "Power Ball" lottery.

But now, let's be fair,

In this "Capitalistic Society", you do have the right or opportunity to take all of your life's savings, open up a mom and pop store, and compete with the Wal-Mart or K-Mart conglomerate just down the street, but good luck in that adventure!

Republican Response; "If it weren't for our corporations, we wouldn't have a job!" Yes partially true, what they don't explain is a job at or near minimum wages. Which the Republicans are trying to abolish.

Or maybe you can start a fashion design studio by designing and producing your own line of fashions. Then compete with the products that are being imported here from "the outsourcing of American jobs" and are now manufactured in sweat shops in China or Pakistan.

Republican response; "Let's do away with unions bargaining rights, minimum wage, and start our own line of sweat shops!"

Or maybe you would like to become a construction company owner? Just simply ask a construction business owner, if you can find one that is still in business, what is their rate of profit after contributing to: worker's compensations insurance and unemployment insurance, the cost of health care coverage, salaries for their employee's.

Republican response; "Make employees pay for their own benefits!"

While on this subject;

The housing market crash was not only caused by providing home buyers with risky loans. Why do you think they were given these loans? It's not because Bill Clinton told them to, that's right wing malarkey!

Housing values were soaring through the roof. Banking investors knew that these home loans were destine to fail. So they devised a scheme. They figured that if they could sell a house, collect the 5% to 10% deposits (anywheres from $5,000. to 30 or $40,000. worth of home buyers personal savings) and maybe a few months worth of mortgage payments, then after defaulting  on the loan, they could foreclose on the house, giving them the property. Then after appreciating in value, start the process all over again.

But this scheme backfired on them when the housing market went belly-up. So what did we do? Bail out the bankers. We are so ignorant at times.

Back to "Socialism"

No, but you did serve 22 years in the U.S. military that has total socialized programs available to you such as; your family housing, medical benefits, physicians you were allowed to see, hospitals you could visit, a free collage education, Government run groceries stores, clubs, activities and entertainment, all with lowered prices or reduced rates.
Everything was available to you provided by our Government. And was financially possible by, the government and corporations bargaining, and at times the government paying part of the cost. This socialistic society seemed to be okay for you at that time!

So what's so different now?

Did you know the ONLY socialism programs that are okay with Republican politicians?
and the Congress and Senate refuse to touch?

Here in America, we turn over larger portions of our hard earned salaries in the name of taxes, to this "Capitalistic pyramid", only to have it portioned out between the large corporations, banks, oil companies and the wealthiest 2% of our society that lobby our Government, with only a small portion of tax money going towards what it was intended for.

We do this in the name of bail-outs and so-called tax breaks for economic growth. Does this sound familiar?

When Democratic liberals and progressives, try to stop all of these corporate and bank handouts, and recommend the wealthiest and corporations to pay their fair share. Conservative Republican say that we are trying to: 
"redistribute the wealth"

We call it: "Making EVERYONE pay their fair share!"

It may be the same old song but well keep singing it until you get it!

This upsets Republican politicians because in actuality, this is the way Republican candidates can pay back their large corporate campaign contributors who donated large funds of money to help them pay for their expensive television smear campaigns against their Democratic opposition. 

Republicans promise their radical constituents that they are going to slash all of this Government spending, eliminate all of the wasteful social programs, but in fact they are doing absolutely NOTHING for the poor or middle class. 

PLEASE do a little research on the Republicans governing record throughout the years, see who they are actually changing the laws to benefit. And please stop believing all of the redo-rick they're feeding you on their radio and television programs.

Let's talk about "redistribute the wealth". When you cut these, so called "social programs" that benefits millions of Americans simply to fund tax breaks for a few Million and Billionaires, that is definitely called,

"redistribute the wealth"

How can so many people be so blind when it comes to our own history? Certainly the History channel is not one of the GOP's favorite cable channels, unless "Sarah's Alaska" is showing. But now it has even been removed for poor ratings :) Where they use show ambushing wolves by helicopter because they are infringing on her uncle's elk hunting business. Yes that's what America's all about, "Free Enterprise".

But let's stay on the topic of this page, socialism.

I understand that in this discussion I will most likely not change any one's opinion about socialism, it's simply intended to help people better understand it.

I personally am not convinced that total socialism is the right direction that we need to head either, maybe only some portions of it. I simply do not believe that 1% of Americans deserve 90% of the pie, when it takes 100% of us to create that pie!

 Socialized nations are facing their own problems.

But we need not fear the word "Socialism" as the right is promoting.

But then, Republicans love to promote fear!

 Yet there is one thing that I am convinced of, this "Capitalistic" pyramid scheme is not working for me!

TRICKLED DOWN ECONOMICS HAS NEVER WORKED! Not even for Ronald Reagan.

The only Government program that is totally successful and solvent until the year 2035 that was signed into law in 1935 by F.D.R. and by the way, is a socialist program is;

"Social Security"

Since 1935 it has been under attack by the

"Right Wing Conservatives"!

They simply can not stand to see any Democratic  program be so successful. And they have been trying, with some success I might add, to get their hands on this money! This is an entitlement program.

That means in simple terms; you paid into it, and you are entitled to it when you become eligible. It is NOT intended for anything else, it is not a petty cash fund for the Congress or Senate, bail-out money, or any other Governments emergency fund.

It was enacted simply for your retirement fund!

Fight to keep their hands out of it!

For even more craziness from the "Republican Tea Party", Did you know that if the tea parties Texas Representative, Debbie Riddle's immigration bill passes, if you were to hire a "unauthorised alien" to let's say; pick fruit or vegetables, carry bricks or lumber for your construction company, you could be fined up to $10,000 and maybe even spend 2 years in jail.

But why is it just "unauthorised aliens" you might ask?

It seems to be okay to be an illegal alien in Texas if you; clean these politician's houses, or a nanny for their children, and of course I'm sure their taking their gardeners into consideration also. Wouldn't wanna cut grass in that Texas 90 degree weather.
