Newly elected Republican Governors are taking orders from large corporations to destroy organized labor as we know it here in America. They're striping away ALL of the union workers bargaining and civil rights.
Like me, you are probably saying to yourself, but I am not in a union? This doesn't effect me. Well for you; how unions effect our lives will be discussed further in this page. So please read on.
The GOP led by corporate America have started Their attack with the State employees such as; teachers, police, correctional officers, fire fighters etc., and are now reaching out into the private sector. This demonstrates that it is strictly politically motivated. Private sector salaries and benefits has absolutely nothing to do with state budgeting.
These politicians are being instructed and financially rewarded by the largest corporations to attack the unions. Unions, along with the hard working middle class Americans who they represent, primarily support Democratic candidates. Destroying the unions would basically destroy some of the largest Democratic campaign contributor.
One of their tactics to accomplish this mission is to create a jealous rage between the private sector and government employees. Sure we remember all of the old jokes about those lazy Government workers. I have worked in the private sector my entire life and have seen plenty of lazy people there also. But the GOP along with their FOX NEWS network are spreading totally ridiculously inflated information about Government workers salaries and their benefit packages. This is an efforts to feed the flames of anger between the private and government workers.
Another thing that is on the Republicans and corporate America's agenda is to completely abolish the minimum wage law. If they are successful in this task, just think about how much they might allow you to earn then, especially with any bargaining rights completely striped away?
Will you be able to make payments on that $18,000.00 car (the average price of a standard subcompact) making about $4.00 or $5.00 per hour, If corporate America feels like that is a fair wage?
Keep playing into their scheme!
How far will you let them go?
Wisconsin was basically a wake-up call. The striping away of the bargaining rights of Wisconsin Government union workers that was deemed illegally voted on and signed into law by Gov. Scott Walker, that now is waiting to be reviewed by their supreme court, In the supreme court election that was held in Wisconsin on April 6th, where the incumbent judge Prosser that was suppose to be a shoe in, he was defeated by a complete unknown liberal Democrat named Kloppenberg.
It appears that the since able thinking Wisconsinites have discovered their error last November by voting in all of their Republican candidates. And efforts are underway to recall most of these elected officials, but will they remember this in 2012?
The Republicans drove this economy into the ditch, now we all have amnesia from the accident!
Why should you help protect the union workers rights?
You are not in a union so you do not see the need to protect the union workers rights?
Every since unions were established, private sector jobs, wages and benefit packages have been influenced by what the union workers are receiving.
